Olivia Bibbo scored two runs and also had an RBI-single to lead Mount St. Dominic, No. 4 in NJ.com's Top 20, as it defeated Montclair 12-2 in Montclair. Mount St. Dominic (1-0) dominated early, holding a 5-0 lead going into the third inning. Montclair managed to score two runs in the third, but so did the Lions, extending their lead to 7-2. They would add another in the fourth inning and five more in the fifth. Mount St. Dominic outhit Montclair 11-3 in the game. Courtney Somsky had three hits and an RBI with Naya Martinez also having three hits including a triple.
