What is food's role in climate change? The Plant-Based for the Planet campaign is partnering with 12 Montclair eateries to spread the word. MONTCLAIR, NJ — What is food's role in climate change? The Plant-Based for the Planet campaign is partnering with a dozen restaurants in Montclair to help spread the word. Earlier this month, nonprofits Humane Montclair and Planted Society announced that they're partnering with the Montclair Township Department of Sustainability to encourage people to choose 'plant-based options' as a strategy to decrease their carbon footprint.
